Howard Audio - Through The Lens with National Geographic
Howard Audio has had the privilege of composing many scores for South African Tourism over the years. Through this relationship with the SAT brand, we were recently approached by Fox International and National Geographic, to commission us to score the music for their "Through The Lens" project, a collection of short films, shot by National Geographic photographers - of their experience in South Africa. The photographer involved in the film we composed to is Jimmy Chin.
Jimmy Chin is one of the most sought after and recognised adventure photographers and filmmakers working today. In the past decade, he has collaborated with some of the most progressive athletes and explorers in the world. He is a National Geographic photographer and has received numerous awards for his work from PDN, Communication Arts, American Society of Magazine Editors and the Lowell Thomas Journalism Awards.
Jimmy says "There are moments in creating photographs when everything falls away, you aren't focused on trying only on experiencing. That is an amazing space to be in - when you are so involved and passionate the only thing guiding you is the pure intent to do something and do it well."

At Howard Audio we do sound differently. Our composers and engineers combine original music, sound design and final mix in a state of the art studio to create emotionally captivating audio.
