MGSLG turns to Slingshot Content Management

MGSLG have turned to Slingshot Content Management to upgrade and redesign their website.

About MGSLG
The Matthew Goniwe School of Leadership & Governance, is a not-for-profit section 21 Company, with funding derived primarily from the Gauteng Department of Education.

The school's aims are:
* To provide a central hub for the continuous professional growth of education leaders and governors.
* To design leadership and management programmes.
* To focus on improving practice through research.

About the website
The new site will be a Joomla! powered Content Management System (CMS), incorporating a number of interactive systems, such as community, events, resources and forum, that will enable the students, who are mainly school principals, to collaborate online.

Furthermore, the site will incorporate the Google Application suite, that enables shared contacts, documents, spreadsheets and presentations. Users will be able to access webmail, and communicate with each other in a way that for many has never been possible before.

The staff at MGSLG are being trained in the use of the CMS, so that they are able to manage the website autonomously and cost effectively.
