Quirk eMarketing wins Health 24 Search Engine Optimisation account
Health 24, Media 24's online portal for health-related topics in South Africa, has appointed eMarketing experts Quirk eMarketing to optimise their site for improved search-engine results.
Quirk eMarketing's CEO, Rob Stokes, is thrilled with the appointment. "It's fantastic to see Blue-Chip companies recognising the importance of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)," he says. Quirk eMarketing aims to rank Health 24 highly on all major search engines for health related searches. "Determining the right keywords for which to make the site rank highly is the ticket to the game. More importantly, these words need to be able to convert searchers to Health 24 site visitors. Keywords are determined using various research tools and are then placed in strategic areas of the site text and HTML code," he explains, adding, "This is where our web copywriters take full honours - their task is to re-write client copy without changing the message while at the same time using the keywords frequently enough for search engine purposes."
