After spending a large portion of my gap year in the basement of a corporate office, packing gifts and doing competitor reviews, I realized that there was plenty more to learn about the marketing industry. Hence why I went on to study a degree in Marketing Communications. I then joined and ad agency within one of the top three global communications groups and have continued to learn and grow within the group since. I am currently the Marketing Manager at Arc South Africa where my duties include strategy development, brand development, internal communication and culture building, online presence management and lots more to keep me eager and challenged.

When I'm not busy working, I like to spend time with my husband discussing our future adventures or we spend time with our friends enjoying our current ones. I love to laugh; I like to think I can still be a bit of a kid. I enjoy home cooked food and watching really cheesy chick flicks and have a desperate urge to see more of this world.

I'm a big fan of meeting new people (that might stem from me growing up as an expat's kid and experience different cultures and meeting such a diverse bunch of people), and I really enjoy learning from them. So get in touch if you want to chat, or share any interesting stories.
