POSITION: DTP Operator Graphic Designer
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for:
• Full DTP, repro, make ready function on Xerox Production
• Using Prinergy CTP system and Preps for print impositions
• Liaison with clients on job tickets through to imposition set ups and templates final print method and type of folding to be used
• Going through colour corrections on proofs, processing approved and signed jobs
• Design concepts through thumbnails until final product
• Communication with clients on samples design
• Products: Magazines, stationery and promotion material
• Magazines - impositions for 2 to 48 page documents
• Brochures all types of print promotion
• Text books - typesetting in black and white
• Developing the Paarlmedia Gauteng Newsletter from brief to final , liaison with the Hr manager
