I am a 'people's person' and love social interaction. I function well within group settings, but also one-on-one. I'm passionate, energetic and perceptive by nature and I try to use these qualities to always achieve the best results in anything and everything I do. I don't mind taking the lead to make sure a job gets done, since I've learned I often have the necessary vision and foresight to do so.
Before Advertising I served as a Naval Officer in the South African Navy; worked as a Cocktail-Bartender in Cape Town, a Commercial Diver, a PADI Scuba Instructor and as a Rigger (mostly rigging for stunts and special effects on movie sets).
I had an incredible journey before I decided to study and obtain my diploma in Copywriting from the Red & Yellow School of Logic and Magic (Cape Town).
Having done lots placed me in the unique position to obtain lots of life and work experience and be exposed to many things. When it comes to formulating concepts and finding the best market related insights or human truths, I can honestly say that this kind of experience has only served me and I find it absolutely invaluable.
