Show profile Hide profileNoeline van den Berg has been involved in through-the-line advertising for the last 20 years. Her expertise lies in the multi-tasking abilities required to make sure that each facet of a job runs smoothly, effectively and cost effectively.
Noeline has also been involved in all facets of this industry, from traffic and production to operations and client liaison, resulting in her specializing in Activation which encompasses all these abilities.
Noeline was head hunted by the Ogilvy Group as the Activation Director in February 2007.
Just some of the accounts Noeline has worked on:
The Omo Dirt is Good Campaign: for this campaign Noeline received a silver Loerie for an activation which consisted of 65 road shows over 2 months educating mothers and children about the importance of staining clothes by being sportive and not worrying about the stains as Omo will take care of it. 10 Schools also won a sports field upgrade to the value of R100 000.00 each. The majority of this road show took place in rural areas throughout South Africa.
The Rama Goodstart Games: 16 National road shows took place at rural community sports fields where kids were entertained with jumping castles, industrial theatre, creative workshops and off course each getting bread and spread. Most events resulted in approximately 6-9000 children attending.
Unilever: The Domestos Flying Germ Show: Noeline produced a theatre production to show audience members in a fun and entertaining manner what the activity of germs in ones bathroom is. This piece of work received an enormous amount of PR, putting advertising and experiential marketing onto a new and desirable platform.
The Shield "Challenge a Friend" campaign: A volume driver and Sms campaign. Entries resulted in 24 television commercials being shot nationally whereby winners were given the chance to challenge a friend in doing something they are petrified of doing i.e. bunjee jumping, sky diving, etc.
The Flora Proactive Anti - Cholesterol Campaign: This was a national, testimonial based radio campaign driven through various radio stations whereby real consumers took the challenge to lower their cholesterol by eating Flora Proactive and winning money.
The Ponds Passport to Success Campaign: a very successful campaigned launched through in-store, radio and television whereby four winners were selected to partake in careers on the set of Generations. This included a wardrobe mistress, a Director, PR manager and an actress. The best performer over the two weeks of working on the set received a cash prize and the others bursaries.
The Joko Journey of Strength Campaign: Community radio stations and in-store point of sale were driving consumers to purchase Joko and enter the competition whereby 600 lucky women were invited to a tea party with an inspirational speaker where they received loads of goodies.
Other accounts Noeline has worked on:
Three World Cups (Rugby 1995, Cricket 2003, Soccer 2010)
Stella Artois in Tanzania
South African Tourism.
South African Post Office
South African Airlines
