In 1998, after years as a consultant with Accenture, Matthew decided to start VentureWeb. Matthew was an early believer in the business potential of the Internet, and under his leadership VentureWeb has shifted focus as the digital marketplace has developed. The company began as a digital agency, and now is establishing itself as a leading supplier of outsourced marketing services to global clients.
"We are taking outsourcing to the next level. No longer is it just about cost - the real war is the war for talent in today's hyper-competitive, global business environment," explains Matthew.
"Our goal is to provide great skills to global clients at an affordable price, so building the networked, best-of-the-best organisation of the future."
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Commerce as well as a Post Graduate Diploma of Management from the Wits Business School's Graduate School of Public & Development Management. He is currently completing an Entrepreneurial Master's Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He sits on the South African board of the Entrepreneurs' Organisation, a global network of more than 7,300 business owners in 42 countries.
