Although I have 15+ years experience in corporate management, my diploma will ensure that I have all the necessary skills and knowledge to advance in a career in freelance copyediting, translation editing and proofreading. I am currently enrolled in a TEFL Diploma Course.

As I have an aptitude for understanding web based interfaces, a keen eye for detail, grammar, syntax and word flow, I specialise in training materials, corporate documents, websites, blogs, magazine articles, journals, school and college assignments, novels, short stories, etc.
Currently I am translating a published English (UK) novel into Afrikaans, editing a blog for a cyclist that travels the globe, editing policy- and procedural documents for Telesure SA, translating Science books from English to Afrikaans for ELRU, editing an English (US) Sci-fi novel, and have been appointed as a freelance QA editor at LRMG in Cape Town, editing their QA training materials.
I have recently assisted in the completion of a collection of Afrikaans short stories that has been published in book form and I have assisted the Science Department at UCT with editing their articles before it is sent to the S.A. Journal of Science.
In addition I have managed to accumulate 15+ years' experience in proofreading and editing documents relating to the drafting of corporate -, foreign exchange -, financial auditing -, credit law and risk control policies and procedures, as well as corporate legal matters, management reports, translation editing, etc.
I am currently enrolled at TEFLINK in a TEFL Master Course in English teaching.
