A graduate of Pretoria Film School, Erik has amassed a wealth of television and related production experience, receiving several local and international nominations and awards along the way, including from Vuka's, NNTV and Avantis to nominations at the London International Awards as well as the coveted Cannes Lion's.

He was a founding member of Fingerprint Filmmakers and founder and CEO of Threshold Collective. In the content arena he is well used to producing high-volume, high quality outputs, having produced over 400 music videos in 5 years, hundreds of minutes of animation, television productions and documentaries. Erik has also produced in excess of 200 high-end local as well as international commercials as well as playing pivotal roles in various live broadcast events from South African Music Awards, The South African Film and Television Awards to Winnie Madikizela-Mandela's 70th birthday.

Copa Coca Cola Football Stars a TV series produced for Coca Cola South Africa. Screened in various different countries on the African Continent including South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, etc CCCFS was seen by millions.
Erik has also completed his Certificate in Entertainment Law from The University of Johannesburg, as well as certificates in international co-production from Lubeck Germany and Gamification from Penn State University.
