I have a wicked fun time in the office that can assist in building people's spirits and helping to get those creative juices flowing. I work hard and find smart, innovative ways to work, resulting in efficient project and time management skills.
I enjoy upskilling, have extensive design experience and knowledge with the ability to share and collaborate with my peers. I take and give direction well and I'm comfortable being client facing.
I started off my journey into the world of advertising but enrolling to do a BA: Information Design Degree at the University of Pretoria which I then completed in 2007. I started my career at a small agency in JHB, Hook, Line and Sinker, we were just 3 people, so I did and learnt quickly.
From there I move to Salt and Pepper Marketing where my world opened up drastically. We did design, ATL and BTL advertising, events, and websites. Events were great as they required event stationery which would include landing pages were information was share, electronic invitations. Here is where my passion for the fluidity and diversity of digital can about. From there I worked for myself for 4 years, went back into the agency world around 2016 where I worked for some of my clients as an employee, then moving on to Ogilvy SA in 2018.
At Comcentrix, Ujala and Ogilvy SA my Art Direction and Digital skills evolved. I was now doing all types of creative digital work from Strats, to emailers, to UX and UI of a game and websites, and social content creation. Which each job you learn and develop the skills and knowledge you need to keep moving forward in the world of digital.
I have been lucky to learn from many and been able to share my knowledge as I move forward.
Digital is always changing/evolving and that's one of the qualities that makes it exciting. You can be fresh, relevant, and specific.
