Kitty and Puppy Haven launches corporate sponsorship drive

Kitty Haven has been in operation since September 2000, and extended to accommodate puppies and dogs in January 2004. It accepts animals that other shelters may have been forced to put down, and specialises in nursing sick and injured animals back to health. Over 4000 animals have been homed to date, with 100 animals re-homed in May 2007 alone.

"Up until now I have financed the haven predominantly out of my own pocket," explains Samantha Berger, the founder of Kitty and Puppy Haven. "But as the haven grows, it is becoming impossible for me to provide the shelter and care that we strive for without the help of corporate sponsors."
