Sponorships required for disability awareness week
We require sponsorships to hold a disability awareness week for the dusabled students at the University of Pretoria. Equipment that makes their lives easier is very expensive, so if anyone can help in any way it will be greatly appreciated.
We require expensive software programs such as JAWS and computers. We also need braille paper and scanners to make notes available to students in an electronic format so that the notes can be played through software that then "speaks" to the students. We do not have a big budget for this, and the number of students with special needs is increasing therefore we need to be able to help these students and make their lives easier while they struggle to do something that the rest of us "normal" people take for granted.
If anyone can help, by donating equipment, programs etc. it would make the world of difference.
