Charlize best as ''Monster''

South African-born actress Charlize Theron has been named Best Actress of the Year by the National Society of Film Critics in America, for her portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the the film "Monster". Bill Murray was awarded Best Actor for playing a disillusioned actor in "Lost in Translation". "American Splendor", the story of a file clerk turned comic book author, was named Best Picture.
