Getaway subscribers assist conservation
A March 2011 subscription offer by Getaway magazine raised R11 520 for SANCCOB (the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds), as R40 per subscription was pledged to the NGO. The drive included a prize to win a copy of Best of outdoorphoto, a coffee-table book celebrating the variety of wildlife and wild places on the tip of Africa, published by Game Parks Publishing in aid of FreeMe and SANCCOB. The campaign ran across the magazine's print, digital and social media platforms.
