Botswana's export/investment body claims success, despite crunch
BEDIA forges ahead despite credit crunch, so for the moment at least it's a case of so far, so good.
The head of Botswana's Export Development and Investment Authority (BEDIA) says that despite the global economic downturn the body has succeeded in attracting investment in export and investment-focused sectors. There are some people, however, who are asking what sort of outlay did the body incur to generate the investment and some are asking that in the face of an economic crunch... How come the success?
