Broadcast at around 10.30 every Saturday morning on SAfm, the Restaurant Report has a slightly different take on reviewing restaurants. In his 10-minute feature, Peter covers everything anyone would want to know about a restaurant - the food and the wines as well as the overall ambience and décor, the music, the lighting and the pricing. And he visits places across the country and across the board - from the modest and simple to the very chic and trendy, from the budget eatery to the pricey and smarter outlets.

While Peter James Smith doesn't set out to slate or overly praise any establishment, The Restaurant Report gives listeners a good idea of what to expect from each featured restaurant - it's factual and useful.
