Northlink College 2022 registration

Our seven campuses are currently open for student registration for the National Accredited Technical Education Diploma (NATED), National Certificate Vocational (NCV), and Competence Modular Base Training (CMBT) courses.

The college’s application requirements vary, depending on the student’s desired study focus area (please refer to the college website for more information). Prospective and current students are reminded of the following: Those who intend to study a skills-based Competency Based Modular Training (CMBT) course, such as Boilermaking, Welding, Spray-painting, Panel-beating, and Plumbing are required to have passed a minimum of grade 9 at school level or equivalent.

National Accredited Technical Education Diploma (NATED) or Report 191 programmes are accredited by DHET and quality assured by credible institutions (please visit the college website for entry requirements).

NATED programmes

• Business studies (comprising Business Management, Financial Management, Public Management, etc)
  
• Engineering studies (comprising Building & Civil Engineering, Mechanical and electrical, etc)

Occupational Programmes

• Utility and General Studies (comprising Performing Arts, Sports, PC technician & Network, etc).

National Certificate Vocational (NCV)

• Offered at Levels 2, 3 and 4 of the National Qualifications Framework which is equivalent to school Grades 10, 11 and 12.

Prospective students who applied and qualified, received an SMS inviting them to report at a specific campus for pre-registration. The pre-registration process required the prospective students to complete documentation, and also bring along three (3) SAPS certified copies of each of the following:

• Student results copies,
  
• Identity Document (ID) copies
  
• Proof of address copies

For some cases, pre-registration requires an assessment.

It is always recommended that students should complete the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) application online on their website https://www.nsfas.org.za/content.

After following all administrative processes and the candidate’s information is verified and approved, students will receive correspondence via our communication channels informing them of the final registration. This process is concluded when the student card is generated. Thereafter students will be informed when the classes will commence.

All Covid-19 protocols are observed at all our campuses, which include screening, sanitisation, masking up, and social distancing.
