Removing the traditional barriers between games, players and the TV, it offers a second window into the gaming world through a 6.2-inch, 16:9 aspect ratio LCD touch screen, the traditional button controls and two analogue sticks. This means that the game can continue to be played on the console screen even when the TV is off or on a different channel.
The console is capable of supporting, the Wii U GamePad and up to four Wii Remotes (this includes Wii Remote Plus) or Wii U Pro controllers. The console is compatible with Wii accessories such as Nunchuk, Classic Controller and Wii Balance Board. Nearly all accessories can be used with Wii U.
