Econet cellphone lines appear on the SA market
Econet simcards have become the latest commodity not readily available in Zimbabwe but to flood markets in neighbouring countries.
The lines have resurfaced in South Africa where they are fetching a minimum of R300 in the Johannesburg black market.Mostly available are the company's popular prepaid and prepaid-contract lines.
The lines are proving popular among Zimbabwe-bound travellers who are saved from the hassles of queuing for the scarce commodity in their homeland.
