GSK South Africa goes to Starcom
Starcom announced yesterday, Tuesday, 28 June 2011 that it has been appointed as the media agency partner for GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) South Africa from Friday 1 July. This follows its selection in February to handle the GSK Africa account.
The GSK media reviews for both Africa and South Africa assignments were not only exhaustive but aggressively contented by many of the leading media agencies. The agency will provide GSK with full service media support and expertise.
SMG group MD Gordon Patterson comments, "Being awarded both accounts is an accolade, given the level of competition throughout the process. I am confident that the relationship will go well and our expertise will drive the group's sales up."
