SA journalism... not only dangerous in the field? Every year journalists die in the line of duty, but that's usually in areas where people who don't like each other (or journalists, for that matter) are busy lobbing ironware at each other. One doesn't expect to be in danger in the studio, however - which begs the question: What the hell is happening at ANN7, when you have a former ANN7 editor allegedly fearing for his life? After the channel's somewhat lacklustre launch, one would expect heads to roll... But not literally, surely? On a happier note, in this week's Creativity Q&A from The Loeries, Sarah Britten chats to Goetz Ulmer and gets his views on creativity - how to inspire it, how it drives business. And still on The Loeries, it's time to book now for The Loeries International Seminar of Creativity. If you follow Biz Takeouts - and if you don't, you should - this week we focus on digital agency Aqua Online.Feel like going to the fillums? Tough! What Sid Peimer is going to do is show you how pitches (not pictures!) are made, Hollywood style. If you're in the advertising or marketing industry, you might find some of the information useful.
