Show profile Hide profileI have proved to be a specialist in changing and engaging poor managed production factories/departments into good profitable organizations. My methodology is to get the workers corps & management to have a common objective this aligning their thinking in-line with that of the companies objectives.
I am a assertive but fair person with a no nonsense approach if employees fail to work in a team environment. I have immense knowledge of implementing green areas that allows team leaders to have 10 min sessions with their respective teams on quality, production, and team related tasks.. I have also managed the National Sales and Marketing Devison on all Fishing products with a annual turnover of R36million. I am a great believer in monitoring key performance indicators (KPI) and that of key value items (KVI) as in both cases people and management looses focus on what the ultimate company objectives are. People's views must be understood and where needed changes must be made to fit the need, I have the ability to evaluate poor performers and or deadwood on all levels, but I also have the ability to identify people with potential allowing them the opportunity to grow within the framework of the companies goals. I have extensive knowledge on executive level this including Board decisions, Investments, Capex ROI, Board reports, High level negotiations, Implimentation Strategic decisions and the controlling and organisng of middle management in acheiving company objectives
My technical and management expertise are in the Textile/Plastics and semi FMC in satifying retail demands is exceptionaly good in delivering deadlines through worforce participation. My management expertise is in the full sphere of operations from production to HR, Engineering to Logistics. The Drafting factory annual/quarterly budgets with that of product costing to the involvement of financials is also some of my strong points.
As I have said I can be extremely firm and will make changes if and when it requires me to do so but I can also be understanding to that of peoples needs.
I have also dealt with unions officials and shop stewards in wage negotiations and hearings to the CCMA. I am aware of peoples rights and will also make them aware of the companies rights.
I have been in a management for 29 yrs and have build a reputable wealth of experience from raw material negotiations to IR to Ops to Engineering and wish to continue this path for years to come.
