Show profile Hide profileTwiggy was born and raised in a small town called Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape.
She started in the industry after landing a 6months Film Skills programme at Multichoice in 2005.
The following year she worked as trainee assistant director for 3years. After spending 5years as a freelance assistant director she decided to go back to school.
She enrolled at Big Fish School of Digital Filmmaking to advance her film skills. While at Big Fish she wrote and directed a number of documentaries and short films. Her film See, Speak and Hear no Evil was accepted at the Encounters Documentary Film Festival 2013.
In 2014 her documentary film was selected as one of finalists at the Spain Film Festival. Twiggy is eager to learn and grow as film director. She sees herself changing the game for the African filmmakers.
