Show profile Hide profileI graduated in 2011 with a Diploma in Advertising management. I acquired a certificate from AAA School of Advertising in Media management in 2013 and currently enrolled at Wits Plus for a Project Management course. I begun my career in a Media company as a receptionist/Admin and P.A to the company CEO. In this position I managed reception area, assisting management with adhoc duties and managing the CEO diary and running of his office. Through assisting the CEO I was exposed to Radio advertisement placement and gained interest in exploring the department handling bookings. My keen interest in the department contributed to the promotion offer in October 2012. In this department I assisted the bookings manager with acquiring advertising rates, negotiating rates, maintaining relationships with stations and buying advertising space for clients. Furthermore in 2013 I undertook a role of a campaign coordinator which involves the planning and implementation of outdoor (mobile) advertising and brand activations. In this role I have to ensure the plans of campaigns are implemented effectively, within budget, briefing of the team, training promoters and organizing logistics and accommodation for the team. The biggest project I have worked on thus far is the Setsokotsane project of the Office of the North West Premier - Mr Supra Mahumapelo. In this project I manage stakeholders involved such as Social Media team, Video production team, All North West community radio stations,etc. I am currently a Media Bookings Assistant and a Campaign Coordinator, in both positions I have to ensure the successful implementation of radio campaigns, outdoor campaigns/ activations and oversee projects.
