Show profile Hide profileI have a degree in Motion Picture Medium completed at AFDA (Cape Town) where in my last year of the course I majored in Directing, Television Production.
I've worked at Cape Town TV where I have been trained on How Television Works and also received practical training both with CTV and AFDA on the following: Directing (live and pre- recorded),Camera operator, studio work, Vision Mixing, VT operator and Editing.
I'm currently still with CTV as a volunteer, have worked in an OB van environment, working on local rugby games. I have directed inserts for Expresso on SABC 3, have acted in series as supporting characters for Montana and Stokvel, directed and shot the Taxi with Soli Philander. This position has taught me how to work under pressure, how to work with others in a team, how broadcasting environment works and has made me competent in working and operating within studio and outside.
I have developed a keen understanding of the life cycle of studio and outside broadcast and eager to learn more and develop my craft. I am a fast learner I work well under pressure and have learnt a good work ethics where I get projects done meeting the required deadlines with minimal supervision.
