I offer photographic and services in a range of categories, including weddings, bands, portraiture, pack-shots, business portfolios, indoor, etc. I also offer video, graphic and web design services.
Show profile Hide profileMy previous work experience has provided me with sound organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. Most of this has been design and photography based, two areas which I am passionate about. In 2007 and 2008 I worked as photographer and graphic designer for Hamiltons-Advertising. During my time at Hamiltons, I worked on various marketing campaigns for a range of blue chip clients in South Africa. I was responsible for the conceptualising and design of marketing materials like POS for all of our clients, ranging from the food to FMCG sector. I have also fulfilled assistant roles in the photographic sector in the past during my time at Yolande Snyders Photography and more recently at Liam Kidney Photography in Athlone. This experience combined with my academic background has provided me with the ability to effectively perform as part of a team or on my own initiative.
I have a Diploma in Photography and Graphic Design from the Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography in South Africa, but more recently have also completed a number of short courses in business, photography and web design. During my time in Stellenbosch I was educated in computer use, report writing and public presentation. I also developed proficiency in a range of computer programs, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, and the Microsoft Office suite.
I have recently registered my photographic business which I work on in my spare time. This allows me to pursue my real passion, graphic design on a full-time basis. I am conscientious, adaptable and a quick learner with a strong record in customer service. I am an approachable person who gets along with all types of people. I enjoy travel and music, which is where I get a lot of my inspiration from.
