When I was but a lad, I went through the academic drudgery of school with one shining light illuminating the end of the tunnel, writing. Through my schooling career I was better at writing than anything else I did, according to my marks. So, matric came and went and I enrolled at the University of Johannesburg to study Journalism. I finished my degree with a major in politics and went out into the big bad and hairy world of adult life. I was hired by MoreGolf to work as their FIRST and ONLY copywriter fresh out of varsity, so I started writing their respective newsletters, a non golfing golf writer as it would be :)!!! The recession hit hard and the saying goes, "last in, first out" and I was retrenched with 9 months experience at the company which was a good start to my soon to wondrously successful career!!!!

Now I am doing any freelance writing including press releases, articles, web copy, mailers and newsletters as I build my CV from zero to hero.
