I started out as an online qualitative research manager, and an insight analyst. What does that mean, you ask? In a nutshell : I assessed and analysed the opinions of individuals, consumers, thought leaders etc. on particular topics / brands.

At present I analyse trends on social media sites gathering information on what individuals are talking about and where they're having their conversations online. Additionally I write strategy for brands who want to make use of Social Media as part of their broader marketing mix and manage a team of bright-young-things who ensure some of Africa's biggest brands lead the way in Social Media.

I have run, advised businesses upon and lead teams in the following areas; qualitative research analysis, digital insight analysis, Drupal development, online reputation management, content management, marketing strategy and enterprise information systems architecture.

I make a mean cup of coffee and am relied upon now and again to advise friends on where to eat.
