It's a longterm commitment which requires skill and to be innovative, motivating, a teamplayer as well as individualistic enough to be dynamic and achieve targets and high standards.
It's also to be highly regarded and respected by your customers and to service them with compassion and care.
I've been a account manger for more than 4 years in both Cape Town and Gauteng, and have achieved many awards and success doing so. I mainly look after the MD's, FD's and main decision makers of a company. I arrange and attend seminars, summits and conferences as well as get involved with local chambers and forums and will negotiate rates for these members. I have weekly visits to main clients and partners, and take care of any questions, problems, negotiations and after sales on behalf of the client, and I am familiar with training people on a product or service.
The hospitality industry is a big passion of mine, and i've studied tourism and worked for a very large hotel group in the UK and later became the Hotel Manager for a country hotel in Oxford, UK.
There are no prior commitments and attachments that could prohibit me from travelling when required. I have a code 8 drivers lisence and have driven in European countries before.
Currently I work for a company that's holding company is UK based, and it's a highly target driven and responsible position. I have to be pro-active, work and plan my diary and gameplan independently, but also share ideas with my colleagues and be a team player.
