Show profile Hide profileBorn Sifiso Mahlangu, I'm a young and passionate fashion creative that caters for
creating and curating concepts pertaining to conventional and unconventional
couture and styling. My motto in life: "To live is the rarest thing in the world, most
people just exist." is a motto that seems apt when one considers my earliest
fashion memory of my mother's style and how people around her gravitated
towards her because of her style. It was a liberating experience. For me, style has been and still is an introspective processes of how I want to
represent myself to the world. Just as Rachel Zoe said "Style is a way you say who
you are without having to speak."
Studied a Bachelor of Physical Science degree, I'm always intrigued by how Art and
Science harmoniously dwell in each others spheres and I believe this has helped me
better understand construction and visual design. My clientele ranges from fashion
enthusiasts who enjoy bold cuts and redefined ways of dressing to the more demure
and classic clients who want to look effortless with a tad of edge. Mavericks who I
admire in the industry have revolutionised how people depict fashion like the likes of
Eric Daman, most popularly known for his work on shows such as Gossip Girl and Sex
and The City.
Creatively, I strive to create content (by means of written and visual mediums) that tells a story which transcends to mere fashion and artistic platforms. Using psychology in my work is important to me so that people peel of the layers of my work to dicover what more to the work at hand.
