Show profile Hide profileI successfully completed my National Diploma: Performing Arts Technology in 1999 at Tshwane University of Technology, with specializing subjects: Lighting and Sound. The course is better known as Entertainment Technology and educates students for the Theatre, Events, Television and Video Industry. In 1999 during my final year, I did my practical training at Pro Touch Event Makers (AME). The training was based on Production (Administration and Technical). I also completed a workshop on the ABC of Event Management on the 4th, 5th of October 2004. Merle Whale of Mbizo Events in Johannesburg presented the workshop.
My last permanent employment was as Production and Events Manager for Habits Entertainment. As an Events Manager, working on a personal level with a Field Marketer from Japan Tobacco International (Camel Cigarettes) in South Africa, I gained valuable knowledge and improved my skills in the Events and Promotional Industry. The success of the events mainly depended on the right branding, technical aspects, décor and entertainment.
I am an ambitious and dynamic individual that see creativity as an imperative attribute for business of today and the future. Therefore I believe that creative flair and business skills combined can make the working environment a place full of possibilities.
I love working with people, whether as a manager or a team player, and adapt swiftly and effortlessly to new situations. I have excellent spoken and written communication skills. Having high aspirations, I am willing to work hard and take well-calculated risks to achieve my goals. I give a lot of attention to detail and planning to achieve the necessary results.
