Show profile Hide profileI am a South African creative thinker and strategic graphic designer with skills and experience ranging from brand strategy, visual identity design, website design and commercial photography with a passion for visual communication.
My professional career started in 2008 with an internship at Ogilvy in Johannesburg after graduating with a B. Tech degree from TUT. I hold qualifications from the Imperial College of London, Curtin University as well as Vega Brand School.
My experience covers a wide range of creative media such as printed advertising, digital advertising, website design, outdoor signage, magazine publication, animated graphics and 3D application across various industries.
In 2013, in conjunction with the Department of Arts and Culture, I rebranded The South African State Theatre, while later leading a dynamic team of six, entrusted with the advertising of productions at the six-theatre complex as well as the internal brand management of the enterprise. While working with the biggest theatre in Africa I also had the privilege of working with industry giants such as Hugh Masekela, the Parlotones and Cassper Nyovest to only name a few. My performance art photography has been published in nearly every South African news publication and I’ve staged a solo photographic exhibition at the same Theatre after leaving to start my own micro agency.
In 2018 I realised her passion for creative consultation and the difference such results can make on businesses and founded Tonic Branding. At Tonic Branding we believe that creativity and design should be used to improve current and future lives for ourselves and others.
Since I started Tonic, I’ve had the privilege to win Best Brand Identity Expect in Gauteng, Tonic was contracted to rebrand the entire Aurecon Africa and the Middle East to Zutari, and I’ve since garnered and maintained many satisfied clients. I’ve worked on projects local, international, complex and simplified. My goal is to be and share the best version of myself, every day.
