I have been working in the NGO sector for more 15 years in various positions which include community development, organizational building, programme/project management. The organisations include Women on Farms Project, Trust for Community Outreach Education, Nicro-Mitchells Plain and the Self- Employed Women's Union. Key performances include experience and skills in organizing & recruitment, strategic planning, people and financial management, report writing and reporting to funders.
In addition to this, I have developed remarkable networking skills which include liaison and maintenance of relationships on different levels and in the different sectors. These include civil society, labour, government and the business sector.
Other position in my working career include Director of Participation Junction, NGO for six months which include key responsibilities focusing on organizational management, leadership, fundraising and human resource management. During 2006 -2008 I worked at the Department of Land Affairs as Acting District Office Manager for the Overberg District from 2006 to August 2008, focusing on land reform, state-grants, sustainable agriculture, human security and rural development. This position also allowed me to develop skills in strategic management and financial management.
Currently, I am working as a consultant at the South Africa Wine Industry Trust focusing on research and project management. I strongly believe if the opportunity is awarded to me I can make a meaningful contribution to your company.
