Throughout the years I've gained an invaluable and extensive background in User Experience Design and User interface Design with technology, business and user-centred design thinking at the epicentre of every product journey. I currently work at the Shoprite Group, where I'm responsible for building and leading the internal product design team, external design agencies, design vision, design systems and all phases of the UX processes, from user research, planning, stakeholder engagement, design strategy & vision, user journeys, information architecture to wireframing, prototyping and user testing.

I do, lead and consult UX designers, UI designers and developers throughout the lifecycle of projects to help them meet Shoprite's high standards for usability and design. While at Shoprite, I've created design systems, digital products, and experiences for various digital platforms, from cross border payment systems, banking/ wallet services, e-commerce, and on-demand grocery platforms.

My work has been recognised by The Bookmarks, Loerie Awards, Assagai Awards, and Sizmek. Ranging from native applications such as on-demand hand-to-hand delivery services, ride sharing and cross-border payments to full corporate banking platforms, enterprise-level banking servicing aggregators, online e-commerce stores, integrated digital advertising, and data-lead corporate branding.

I received my BTech degree in Multimedia Design from the University of Johannesburg in 2011 while working for some of the most sought after agencies, consultancies, and clients in South Africa. My 10-year foundation in interactive design, front-end development, art direction, and design thinking continuously informs my work as a multidisciplinary design lead.
