×Show profile Hide profileI live on my own, own my own vehicle. Graduated with exemption then attended UCT doing law and humanities(2nd choice)... (I didn't like it so only did 1st year). I then worked at Spitz for a year until I was stolen by a client that wanted me to come work for her at the bank. I enjoyed my time there and had various responsibilities, I worked my up from the switchboard to a service consultant with other responsibilities ie:investment and forex consultant. My dream was to study and make a career out of something I thought I could be good at, so I decided to give up my permanent job (3yrs later) and study G/Design full time, of which i had to do a foundation course 1st before I could be allowed to do my ND:Graphic design. Everyone told me that I was making a mistake. I laughed! It was tough financially and still is but, I never regretted my decision for second!
I've been freelancing for 6 years now and I've learned to take design briefs from inception to finished article. I've worked hand in hand with printers and marketing consultants. In light of this, I've learned that communication is key to a successful team working together. I'm the type of person that will sit until a job is done. Attention to detail is apart of a designers arsenal, I don't see it as a hindrance or skill that you have or not. I feel I have alot to learn regarding graphic design, and I'm certainly willing to.
I know that I can be an asset to any company, as I've been in the past.
