3. X-Factor South Africa 2014
X-Factor is a well-known music competition to find new singing talent, contested by aspiring singers drawn from public audition. Last year they made their debut in South Africa.
I was fortunate to be part of the initial production during November/December 2014. We were a team of three animators, employed by Rapid Blue, responsible for creating the stage graphics / animation for the live shows.
4. A-hak Industrial Services (South Africa) - A basic pipeline dewatering
A-hak Industrial Services is a global company that originated in the Netherlands. The core function of A-hak South Africa is pipeline inspection and maintenance.
They acquired my services because they need a marketing / training tool for customers and employees. They first considered video productions, but then realized that animation would proof to be more ideal for their needs, with the ability to slice through pipes and cameras moving below ground level, etc. This is the first animation I've done for them and it is the most basic discipline they perform ( Basic pipeline dewatering ). It is still a prototype, but I can say that the client is very pleased with the project so far. As far as my involvement is concerned I can state that I've done all the animation single-handedly, in conjunction with one of their engineers.
5. Horne Group
Horne Group provide advanced engineered solutions in mine hoisting, conveyance safety and impact arresting across the globe.
They contracted me to produce marketing material to promote their products in the mining industry.
6. Fermel
Fermel's core business is to provide integrated mining solutions , encompassing the manufacture and supply of an extensive range of underground, trackless mining machinery.
Fermel is a client of 3D Rags. The project was based on some newly developed concepts of mining vehicles. They need to acquire permission from their customer to proceed with production. They supplied the 3d models and I had to simulate the full operation in a mining environment.
