Show profile Hide profileI attended the African Film Drama Academy, and it exposed me to the film industry specifically to motion picture discipline. With this in hand I was fortunate to be exposed to various visual mediums and directing techniques. I was fortunate enough to be on multiple film sets including stop motion and visually generated animation. This has worked to my advantage and would definitely work to yours when it comes to fusing motion picture medium and new media.
With that added the opportunity of have worked with various film directors brings different combined feels of portraying narration and documenting.
I also worked at an environmental activism NGO as mentioned, working in their Communications department as a New Media Coordinator. During this time I worked primarily with merging the different types of content and visuals with technological mediums we use recently.
This included live streaming, video uploads, content management, press releases and general website management. The organization sent me to India on a New Media conference and training session for 6 weeks and that benefited me a lot. The conference was mainly targeted at enhancing new media all around the world in order for people to access information more rapidly and without any hustles or difficulty. With this we were exposed to the future of New Media including the growth of social media around the world.
These techniques that are in the process of being introduced to the world gradually, I have the benefit of being exposed to them before and an advantage of have used them which would be beneficial to your organization.
I believe with the experience I have and the technical exposure I have been exposed to I could be of value to your organization, with that comes the ability to strategically plan possible intervention and creatively execute them without using a big budget and without loosing the objective of the project or venture. I have the encouragement that I would be able to deliver your vision and objectives to your market quite efficiently using these two disciplines I have mention without hindering the organization turn over period.
