As the son of a pastor, Paul travelled with the family and had the opportunity to attend more than seven schools during his youth in Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, East London, Mooirivier, Pietermaritzburg and Potchefstroom.
The beauty of animation and love of visual effects appealed to Paul from a young age. His childhood heroes include film producer Walt Disney and director Stephen Spielberg. Creative, unique and optimistic are a few characteristics which best describe this humble father of three who regards Christ as the most important influence in his life. His principles, character and value system are informed by his relationship with the creator.
When not kite flying or swimming with his family, Paul enjoys playing guitar, piano, marimba or undertaking the occasional woodwork venture. Motivated and outgoing, Paul is determined to reach his fullest potential by following the motto: "With an attitude that is gratitude, you will do your best and it will be (more than) good enough."
