Born in Eldorado Park, marketing guru Paul Leisegang is known to rub shoulders with some of the world's top fashion, entertainment and sports celebrities. After working in strategy and risk management for Eskom in the mid-90s, he founded Samadhi Consulting to unlock CSI funds and direct them towards worthy social projects. Over the course of several years, Samadhi also helped the African Union to implement strategies for an African Renaissance, a project which put Paul into contact with government leaders across the continent. Later Paul moved to Octagon Sports Marketing, where he led the team that secured MTN's sponsorship of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. This multi-million-rand deal brought him to the attention of billionaire mining magnate Patrice Motsepe, who head-hunted him to build African Entertainment International. The company quickly acquired interests in some of SA's top fashion properties, as well as music events with US icons such as Russell Simmons, 50Cent and Sean 'P Diddy Combs'. A dynamic executive with a strong record of achievement, Paul is always seeking out new opportunities beyond the known horizon. He is truly a rainmaker of note.
