Having completed my undergraduate degree, which is BA Media and Communication, in 2006 I decided to further my studies and completed BA Honours Media & Cultural Studies in 2007. Whilst studying in 2007, I was approached by other students for an opportunity to become a co-founder of a student newspaper called Independent Update. I was then elected by the team to manage the publication as its Chief Editor. This gave me an opportunity to understand the media and marketing business environment as I was fully responsible for managing editorial content and placing adverts in the newspaper. In 2008 I moved to Newsclip Media Monitoring where I was offered employment as a Media Analyst. My working experience as a Media Analyst entailed analysing media coverage and compiling valuation-based reports with meaningful media insights for clients. I left the company in June 2011. I am currently seeking opportunities for growth within Media/Marketing field.
