Show profile Hide profileSince graduating high school I studied Film and TV production at TUT, under the talent of Leon van Nierop. I specialized in Scriptwriting, Editing, Directing and Producing.
As a Scriptwriter I have to have the whole picture in mind, knowing what happens when and how. As Editor I got to put the pictures together like a puzzle. As Director I got to organize and direct crews and cast to turning an idea into reality. And as a Producer I organized everything from locations, catering, cast, finances and equipment, making the director's vision possible. All of the above helps in managing time, people, surroundings and all types of circumstances.
After graduating, I went to the US to be an Aupair, where I planned and organized family schedules. While in Fairfax, VA, I helped the Aupair Cluster Leader plan several events for Aupair in America Company.
I returned from the US, and started a short film production with a few film associates. We assembled a crew of high school students to create a film with the intention of teaching them a skill and passion for film.
I worked at Phoenix Films from April 2013 to February 2014. I started as Sales Assistant where I had to phone prospective clients and arrange meetings for our Sales Representatives. I was also the new writer for their weekly Newsletter. I was moved to Operations in June to assist with managing 12 films. I moved to Research where I supervised the new scripts, compiled potential research lists and researched potential clients. As well as write scenes for proposals to be sent to clients. I went back to Operations in training to becoming the new Operations Manager, where I alone managed 12 films.
It is all of the above that equip me in doing the best work in this field.
