A general job description of an OMS 2 Tester:
Responsibility of an OMS 2 Tester is to execute Test-cases and log defects raised on OMS application and liaise with Business.
Specific responsibilities of an OMS 2 Tester:
? File test result
? Report risk and progress on projects
? Follows steps of effective manual testing to test the functionality of simple, clearly defined OMS applications and interfaces(EPPPIX,ERP ,Helios, MTN Active, Oracle)
? Utilize standard templates (Defect, Approval, Test-case) to produce accurate and comprehensive feedback on test results using various testing tools.
? Testing of systems infrastructure before deployment
? Execute test cases as per business specification
? Log, track and manage defects
? Source and share test initiatives new to the market with potential to improve existing processes and methodologies
? Compile data extracts and reports on a daily basis
