Show profile Hide profileI am currently working for a publication called The African Professional Magazine as a Publishing Executive - The publication is a platform for the interaction of African professionals and entrepreneurs based in South Africa and the rest of the continent. The publication recognise business excellence and honour enterprises that promote the spirit of success, innovation and job creation, among others. What we need in Africa is business excellence, role models and people who can show the way to others to move our African economies forward. My roles are profiling these African professionals and entrepreneurs and selling advertising space.
I'm also the founder of Nyakaza Media Solutions, a non-profit making organisation that was registered in terms of the Non-Profit Act, 1997 (Act 71 of 1997) of South Africa. Nyakaza Media Solutions is an organisation that was established to help high school learners to research, write, document, report, analyse, edit, publish newsletters or bulletins in hard-copy, on-line and maintain websites with the relevant content for those high schools. Nyakaza Media Solutions has a vision to promote and bring dialogue to high schools about issues that affect young people.
Having done research on small businesses in Cosmo City for the Visual Arts Network of South Africa, he started a facebook page called The State of Business in Cosmo City. The platform is a movement to change the mindsets of young people, particularly the unemployed about entrepreneurship, to think of causes they can take up and make a living out of.
