As a graphic designer with solid experience and track record, I am looking for a position that not only allows for growth and career challenges, but one that allows me to put my +15 years experience to use within a team focused on deliverables and pushing creative boundaries.
Show profile Hide profileAs a graphic designer with solid experience and track record, I am looking for a position that not only allows for growth and career challenges, but one that allows me to put my +15 years experience to use within a team focused on deliverables and pushing creative boundaries.
I have been working in a corporate environment as a senior graphic designer - where I am responsible for the company's branding portfolio - internal and external - as well as the overall company corporate identity. Additionally I mentor and guide the junior design ensuring design and print excellence for the company and its relevant stakeholders. Previous roles have also allowed me the opportunity to expand on skillsets including conceptualisation, illustration, studio running and animation. In my spare time, to ensure I have an outlet for independent creative conceptualisation, I contribute script and art to an upcoming South African comic.
In a working environment, I strive to bring innovation and inspiration to both the team I work with, and the campaign/project. I thrive in a team environment but am fully capable of working independently and consider myself driven, hardworking and adaptable. The say the only constant is change - and certainly in a design environment this runs true, and as such, over the years I have learnt to not only become flexible, but cope well with tight deadlines and of course, manage numerous projects and deliverables simultaneously. I have a strong work ethic,
good attitude and pleasant nature.
I believe that challenges allow us to grow and I am at a point in my career where I welcome different opportunities that allow me to expand my skillset but at the same time, offer stability.
I truly believe that hard work, attention to details and creating value are critical pillars to a successful career and I welcome the opportunity to discuss my suitability for the available position.
