My name is Michael Cullerton , im 29 Years old and im currently working freelance in many different avenues in the Entertainment Industry in South Africa I am an extremely driven person with a massive need to succeed in life, I'm very friendly to all I meet and get along with people well.

After completion of my Hospitality Management degree in 2004, I realised I was in the wrong field relating to Events and Entertainment. I quickly and promptly turned my attentions to the music and event management side regarding Live Entertainment in South Africa. I used my contacts and found employment at the 46664 concert. This is where I knew I had made the correct career choice and loved every second of it. I worked in personal space with Annie lennox, Live, Goo Goo Dolls, Razorlight and Peter Gabriel.
After meeting and working with such massive musical legends I knew I needed to secure a permanent role in the music industry. I was employed by a relatively small record label and artist management company in 2006. After only one year of employment I left and followed a bigger job opportunity overseas and started my travels.
Once I had seen and experienced everything I needed too, I returned home to South Africa. I then secured employment with South Africa's biggest selling rock band - Just Jinjer. I currently work and travel with the band as there Stage and Road manager.
In 2010 I started up my own Entertainment booking agency called 2M Music and Event management company called Chilli Rock Entertainment.
Alongside with Just Jinjer' employment and running two companies, I started my own music festival called Rocking The Range in early 2011. This was a massive success and we are now looking at starting and creating other festivals of this nature around South Africa.
With all this going on I still find time to work part time at a Sound hiring and studio building company called Hammerhead Sound/Studios as there Account Sales Manager.
So , with all this going on you might ask why am I applying for a job with you? Well to be completely honest Im looking for a job with more stability and a fixed and steady career growth.
As you can see I am an extremely driven person with a massive need to succeed in life, I'm very friendly to all I meet and get along with people well. I'm looking for a role that I can make my own, and move up in the company ladder.
