Mfanimpela Ndlala born in Mpumalanga and proceeded his studies at the University of Zululand where he completed his National Diploma in Public Relations Management. During his studies he was awarded a certificate in recognition of valuable contribution and participation as a peer educator in the HIV & AIDS Program at the University of Zululand from February 2008 - February 2009.
In June 2010 he joined the SABC, Ligwalagwala FM working as a Marketing Assistant in the Marketing Department. As a Marketing Assistant he gained extensive knowledge in marketing, events planning, dealing with Media and Publicity, branding, sponsorship & writing reports and proposals. He organized and led CSI campaigns / events for the disability month which attracted thousands of Ligwalagwala FM listeners.
He was part of the following Ligwalagwala FM's Outside Broadcasts; Campus Tours, Jazz Sessions, Spin City, 16 days of Activism & South African National Blood Donations. Publicity for the station including publicizing the following DJs with their cars in national newspaper, Sunday Sun: DJ Shabba, Khaya, Drama Queen, Lungile and Fanie Ndzinisa.
He was also part of the implementation phase for the Housing project and the soccer boots hand over at Primary Schools. His work entailed long working hours including weekends and public holidays, working under pressure and ensuring that all was executed successfully and his work speaks for itself.
