I have developed many skills over the years in dealing with people and managing processes, often in very stressful circumstances with tight deadlines. I am well presented, and am able to handle projects which include any form of creative criteria. I have dealt extensively with both local and international companies, and can offer good experience in executing projects from start to finish. I would like to take on contracts that will utilise my skilles.
12 years ago, I started doing Graphic Design on a freelance basis in JHB for several smaller companies. This grew per quickly word of mouth, and I soon found myself with a steady client base. I have produced designs and completed creative concepts and projects for both local and international companies, with whom I have maintained excellent on-going business relationships with for over 10 years.
I attended courses in San Francisco, run by Walt Disney artists, on design and the art of sketching, and brief preparation.
Projects produced to date included the following elements: Graphic Design, Advertising Concepts and Design, Layout, Brochure design, Viral campaigns, Event planning and Management for Tourism Board functions, Multimedia, Website concepts, Photo shoots, Corporate Identity Design, presentations and other various marketing materials, Point of Sale (POS) designs and various other campaign and display designs for the FMCG and Tourism industries.
I have successfully created concepts, seen these concepts through to final design and managed projects ranging from small design project and campaigns to large events. I have established excellent outsource relationships with printers and other suppliers in both JHB and Durban.
I am a well presented and professional person, whose passion lies in Art and Language, in which I have always excelled. I have a great love for life, colour and adventure. My approach to situations which are seemingly negative, allow those situations to evolve into positive challenges. My experience in securing and maintaining clients has revealed that people respond well to me on all levels
