Show profile Hide profileHaving grown up in South Africa in its white then black state ( load-sheddings included) has made me a person who embraces all aspects of life with humility. I find myself looking for new ways to challenge my abilities in the fields of writing, thinking and generating a reaction.
I have no desire to fish on stagnant waters because my line would just land on the surface, I need to go deeper, perhaps if the pond was in a bucket, I'd cause it to experience a little quake. Outside actions need to shake the 'community' so as to cause an internal wake. Then the future generations will know you as the one who took their roots through a time of awakening, the evolution of beliefs.
My immediate fields of interests are:
Cinematography:
To use my love and ability to put myself in tight situations to capture the deepest truth through the lens, be it war zones or extreme sports and the wild.
Film and Video Editing:
To use my inherent ability to visualize and imagine, trouble shoot on the spot and the aptitude to adapt to new software to translate any idea into a audio-visual experience.
Therefore, as a fresh, anthusiastic, and motivated young man. It would give me great pleasure to find myself in a situation that will challenge my skills in such a way, that the company and industry I'll find myself in, reach heights that will peak above the rest.
It is a drive that I strive for.
