My qualifications are in Hospitality and towards a Masters in Business Administration. I am a self-motivated, hardworking, goal driven professional with proven leadership, communications and project management skills coupled with sound financial management and extensive work experience in advocacy, stakeholder relations, community development and policy development which makes me a rounded person with diverse knowledge.
My extended role at the University of Johannesburg is that of a life skills trainer, leadership developer, motivational speaker and a mentor. The constant interaction with the public and corporate players has inculcated a sense of versatility and a go-getter character, with a ferocious drive to make things happen as opposed to letting them happen. I am always prepared to learn without compromising my assertiveness and decisiveness.
My role as the Arts and Culture Officer involved organising and facilitating workshops, training sessions, seminars, and conferences. I founded, managed and facilitated a structured mentoring and coaching programme for young women at the University of Johannesburg. Furthermore I initiated and facilitated developmental programmes for students and as well as outreach programmes.
